1) Reef Mapping Project
Atoll Editions started recording the bathymetry, features and marine life of the divesites of the Maldives in 1986. 2) Shukuriya boat hire
Built in 2006, Shukuriya is a 7.5m aluminum research vessel, especially designed for inshore reef monitoring work. Funded from the sale of Atoll Editions Maldives products, Shukuriya is currently based in Cairns, Australia, and is being used to develop geo-referenced maps of divesites on the Great Barrier Reef on a scale of 1:500 or greater.
