Built in 2006, Shukuriya is a 7.5m aluminum research vessel, especially designed for inshore reef monitoring work. Shukuriya is currently based in Cairns, Australia, and is being used to develop geo-referenced maps of divesites and reefs on the Great Barrier Reef.
